Lifetime Exchange Policy

This Lifetime Exchange Policy (“Policy”) applies to eligible jewellery products purchased directly from Merynn through its official website or authorised sales channels. By purchasing from Merynn, you agree to the terms set forth herein.
Meryn reserves the sole and absolute right to interpret, modify, amend, or withdraw this Policy at any time without prior notice.
1. General Eligibility
Subject to the terms below, Merynn offers a Lifetime Exchange Policy on eligible jewellery products.
To qualify:
- The product must have been purchased directly from Merynn.
- The original invoice and product certificate must be produced.
- The product must pass Merynn’s quality inspection process.
- The jewellery must not show signs of alteration, resizing, damage, repair, or modification by any third party, which if the case product will not be accepted.
Meryn reserves the right to reject any product that fails inspection.
2. Lifetime Exchange Policy
Under the Lifetime Exchange Policy:
- The eligible exchange value shall be credited to the customer’s Merynn account.
- The credited value may be used only toward the purchase of another Merynn product.
- The exchange value cannot be encashed, transferred, or refunded in cash.
- The exchanged product will be evaluated at prevailing market rates as determined solely by Merynn on the date of receipt and inspection.
Meryn retains full discretion to determine the final exchange value after quality assessment.
3. Lifetime Buy-Back Policy
Under the Lifetime Buy-Back Policy:
- Eligible products may be returned to Merynn for monetary consideration.
- The buy-back value shall be transferred via bank transfer within 15 business days from the date of successful inspection and approval.
- Buy-back eligibility is limited to products originally purchased for a value up to ₹1,99,999.
Meryn reserves the right to refuse buy-back if eligibility criteria are not met.
4. Determination of Value
The applicable value shall be determined on the date Merynn receives and inspects the product.
A. Diamond Jewellery

Mandatory Deductions
The following deductions shall apply:
- Making charges
- Applicable taxes
- ₹1,000 processing fee
- Value of any discount originally received
- Value of any complimentary gift
- Value of reward points or promotional benefits used
- Any unpaid EMI amount (if applicable)
The final payable amount shall be calculated after all deductions.
5. Exclusions
The Policy does not apply to:
- Loose diamonds
- Baguette diamonds
- Tapered diamonds
- Polki jewellery
- Pearls
- Colored gemstones
- Customised or specially commissioned pieces
- Products purchased from unauthorised sellers or third-party marketplaces
Meryn reserves the exclusive right to determine product eligibility.
6. Certificate & Documentation
The Policy does not apply to:
- Original invoice and certificate are mandatory.
- In case of certificate loss, additional charges of ₹2,000 or ₹800 per carat (whichever is higher) will apply.
- Failure to provide valid documentation may result in rejection.
7. Shipping & Insurance
- Shipping and insurance for delivery to customers is borne by Merynn.
- Reverse shipping for exchange/buy-back will be arranged by Merynn.
- The ₹1,000 processing fee covers reverse logistics and insurance.
Meryn shall not be liable for items shipped without prior authorisation.
8. Quality Inspection & Final Authority
All returned products are subject to:
- Physical inspection
- Purity verification
- Stone authentication
- Weight reconciliation
Meryn retains sole discretion in determining:
- Market value
- Damage assessment
- Final payable amount
- Eligibility under this Policy
The decision of Meryn shall be final and binding.
9. Policy Amendments
Meryn reserves the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or terminate this Policy at any time.
- Revise valuation mechanisms.
- Change applicable deductions.
Changes shall take effect immediately upon publication on the official Merynn website.
Customers are advised to review the Policy periodically.
10. Limitation of Liability
Meryn shall not be liable for:
- Market fluctuations
- Price differences due to timing
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Third-party alterations or damages
This Policy does not create any vested contractual right beyond what is expressly stated herein.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts determined by Meryn’s registered office location.
